Lily

Lily
Lily Robertson is a sweet Christiansburg 3 year old who was diagnosed with Metachromatic Leukodystrophy (MLD) in July 2012. MLD is a painful and eventually terminal genetic disease in which late infantile patients, like Lily, have a life expectancy of about 5 years. Unfortunately, there is currently no known cure. See the links below to follow Lily’s journey through this disease on her CaringBridge site and learn more about MLD.

Origami Owl & Thirty One Gifts fundraisers

We have two new opportunities to raise funds for Lily's Playground. First, one of our members is hosting an Origami Owl party (very cute jewelry!) with all proceeds going toward our project. Heidi has selected the Crystal Butterfly charm to represent Lily but all items ordered will help us out. You can place an order at http://marcoggins.origamiowl.com/parties/JessicaCromer25276/how-to-build.ashx by midnight on TUES, NOV. 12th. Contact Marsha Coggins at marcoggins@yahoo.com with questions.

Secondly, a local Thirty One gifts representative was at the Purses for a Playground fundraiser and is taking orders with proceeds going toward Lily's Playground. Orders can be placed at https://www.mythirtyone.com/shop/preshop.aspx by SAT, NOV. 16th. Questions can be directed to Angie Cornett at flgirl1099@gmail.com.

Thanks for your continued support!
