Lily Robertson is a sweet Christiansburg 3 year old who was diagnosed with Metachromatic Leukodystrophy (MLD) in July 2012. MLD is a painful and eventually terminal genetic disease in which late infantile patients, like Lily, have a life expectancy of about 5 years. Unfortunately, there is currently no known cure. Benefit Yard Sale for Lily's Playground
The Robertsons' neighborhood is sponsoring a community yard sale to raise money for Lily's Playground. Please come out on Saturday, June 29th from 8:00 am-12:00 noon on Hillcrest Drive in Christiansburg. From N. Franklin St, turn onto Depot Street by Pizza Inn. Go through the stop light and make a right onto Hillcrest Drive (behind the Bright Services building). Look for pink balloons on the mailboxes for participating houses. All proceeds will benefit the play area. Spread the word!
