Lily Robertson is a sweet Christiansburg 3 year old who was diagnosed with Metachromatic Leukodystrophy (MLD) in July 2012. MLD is a painful and eventually terminal genetic disease in which late infantile patients, like Lily, have a life expectancy of about 5 years. Unfortunately, there is currently no known cure. Playground fundraising and planning meeting

Thanks to everyone for your support for Lily's Playground! We are so excited with our fundraising progress so far and are so thankful for the generosity of all of our supporters! We'd like to invite anyone who is interested in helping with our project to attend a planning meeting on Tuesday, June 18th at 7:00 pm at the Christiansburg Library meeting room. We'd welcome any help offered for fundraising ideas, sponsorships, public relations/advertising, thank you notes, etc. We hope to see you there!
